The Gard terroir is rich and there are many men and women who love and enhance it, from producers who increasingly work in organic farming to restaurateurs who enhance the quality of their products. .
The choice is difficult and it is bound to evolve over the course of our discoveries. We want to show here a sample of the gourmet palette that we appreciate which goes from local producers like "Malaïgue" or "l'Ocre Rouge", through our favorite restaurants and to the "Suisse d'Alger" in Uzès which remains a must-see just a stone's throw from the herb square for a drink accompanied by some tapas…

The "Domaine de Malaïgue" between Campagnac and Uzès

It is a team of 5 to 6 people who work on the estate with the greatest respect for nature and people to offer you its wines. For several years now, ancient varieties of wheat have been cultivated there, transformed into flour on the estate. You can also walk among "vineyards and scrubland" and discover the beauty of the landscape over the seasons and from August, you can even pick your table grapes yourself.

"L’Ocre Rouge" at Dions

Natural wines in identical landscapes. Harvesting owners full of kindness and passion. A good quality-price ratio for their organic wines. A sparkling wine of character, a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir planted in the middle of the scrubland, crushed by the sun by Aymeric Beaufort as his ancestors had done in Champagne. "The tractor" at Argilliers

A place we like to hang out on summer evenings with the kids. The cuisine is simple and inventive, made with raw products, always in season, worked by attentive and respectful hands. The wine list goes in the same direction. It's always a treat! But be careful, remember to book, the fans are numerous, the opening days and the number of places are limited!
